I’ve had a few people ask how I manage keeping my stuffing after all these years. While some might be ashamed to admit it, I wanted to be transparent with you. Yes, I’ve had some work done.
As I was approaching my 38th birthday, I started having some nasal issues. At first I tried to hide it. I didn’t want to face the idea that I’m getting older and sometimes a body just gets worn out.

At first, I just brushed back the threads. I tried to ignore the signs. “Maybe no one will notice.” That’s how it starts.

Before long, it was clear I needed to consult with a physician.
This was moving well past an outpatient stitching. I met with the surgeon, and after a long talk with my person we decided it was time. In December of 2025, I went under the needle. The surgery was quick, and by the next day I was able to smell cookies baking for the first time in over a year!

Thanks to the resident down the hall and her surgical prowess. Rhinoplasty is a scary thing for a bear, and she made me comfortable throughout the procedure.
